The Simple Woman's Daybook - April 27th
I finally get a chance to participate again in "The Simple Woman's Daybook", which is originated at Peggy's blog, The Simple Woman's Daybook. Check her out!
For Today...
Outside my window... rain and lots of it!
I am thinking... of the tasks that need to be done this week
I am thankful for... my hubby feeling better!
From the kitchen... preparing to finish off leftover BBQ neckbones from yesterday's dinner that hubby cooked. I'll add corn and white rice and hopefully they will finish it all!
I am wearing... jeans (Baby Phat) and a green top with a lace design with scattered sequins on the design. Oh yeah, and green flip flops.
I am reading... Beth Moore's wonderful book (chosen by our pastor's wife) "Get out of that Pit" and "Raising Lambs Among Wolves" by Mark I. Bubeck
I am hoping... to one day get caught up on my laundry (yeah, right)!
I am creating... a schedule for myself and the kiddos to follow, so there can be a little sense of order in our home (yeah, right)
I am praying... that God will remove the generational curses in my oldest son brought on by his biological family
Around the house... enjoying my new living room set. It's gorgeous!!!
One of my favorite things... sleeping during the rain (had to take a short nap after the kiddos left this morning)
A few plans for the rest of the week... getting my nails done today (rare occasion), working tomorrow morning and Wednesday morning, preparing for our trip to Temple for the church marriage retreat, turning in my Avon order and enjoying church Wednesday night!
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

I enjoyed reading your daybook! I live the rain for sleeping too- as long as there's no lightning or thunder:)
